exhaust pipe diameter

so im going to be redoing the exhaust on my 97 civic with a gsr swap and i was wondering what diameter to with on the pipe
i plan to do a turbo upgrade later aswell

atleast 2.75", 3" is a good idea though on anything over 200 or so. Theres a chart that tells you what size piping you need with the horsepower you make, but like trust said, we need to know how much you plan on making first of all.

I thought 3" is good until about around the 400 hp range. If he's just doing a gsr swap and boost he wont be making near that much.

Lol. I put in 10,000 hp and it said i needed a 14.6" exhaust. haha!
Nice find tho, really handy. :-)

thanks guys
and i guess my power goal is at least 300 to the wheels
and its already got the gsr swap and it rocks
i hope to be running 10 lbs of boost...
