F22 Swap

Ive got a 91 civic hatchback with i think a b16 swap(bought it that way) ive got a buddy with a F22 motor and was wondering if it would swap easily and if so then what do i need?

f series engines are a lot bigger than the usual D and B series engines for that chassis. I'm not sure if it'll even fit. You'd have to get custom mounts and do some fabrication to get everything to work. Hybrid axles too.

Well is he talking about the F22 from an accord? If so, I thought those were pretty small

Maybe I'm thinking H series. Both are 2200cc, right?

F22 = H22 with one less cam. Even the F22 from the Accord is noticeably bigger than a D-series. Now whether or not it's too large to fit in an EF engine bay I can't say, but it is definitely larger than the D that came from the factory.

OP, unless it's a JDM F22B (unlikely), you're actually going to lose power swapping it over. Unless, of course, it's an F22C1, in which case, it's an S2000 engine and has one of the best naturally-aspirated power-to-displacement ratios ever. Also, it'll be extremely expensive to get it to work as a FWD engine, and even if you pulled it off (totally possible), the valve cover would be "backwards" (the lettering would face towards the firewall), and that would just look silly. Seriously, though, I doubt it's an S2000 engine.
