first time tuner

I am owner of a 2000 Honda civic coupe ex. the motor is a d16y8. the car already has a blaster coil with msds rotor, cap and wires with iridium spark plugs. a aem max air flow intake. a high flow exhaust that has racing headers. i don't know if the cat is stock or not but also has a cat back exhaust. there might be more mods since i bought the car last week and didn't put the parts in my self. the car has 110k miles. i was wondering if they're were more mods that were easy and not to costly, i really want to add hp and torque without effecting fuel economy ( better fuel economy would be great).

I deleted your other threads. No need for duplicates. This forum is a little slower than others so replies may be delayed.

Anyways, there isnt much else you can add onto the car to make it faster unless you go boost, or swap. D series were made for economy.

If you are a new Honda owner I would suggest starting with familiarizing yourself with the car. Replace little things like the fuel filter, and all that regular general maintenance stuff. Then, maybe look into suspension if you want to keep the fuel economy ;)

replace engine air filter with K&N air filter, which never needs to be replaced (just clean it, let it dry, put it back in)

get a BECAUSE RACE CAR sticker and experience the extra 10 hp...

At this point boosting is really the only thing going to give you power. Turbo or supercharger. Building the engine is an option, but without boost it won't get you to even 200 WHP.

He already has AEM intake

Things you could do:
Upgrade the intake manifold
Lightweight flywheel
Lighter wheels

But nothing will get you the power desired, aside from some good old boost. Or n2o, which I know nothing about, other than kaboom!

And, with proper tuning, you can maintain a decent mpg with a turbo.
