Anyone know how to remove the fuel line hose, it goes from the filter to the fuel rail.. The hose has a hole in it and i need to replace it... thanks

This hose has "banjo" fittings on both ends. Obtain a new OEM hose with the fittings already crimped on. Don't try to rig something with hose clamps.

Unscrew the bolt that holds the fitting to the filter, using the large hex part. Note that it is a special bolt with a hole drilled for the fuel to flow through, capped by a small bolt on top (this small bolt is a test port). Also note that there are copper washers between the filter and the fitting, and between the fitting and the head of the bolt. Remove the old copper washers and use new ones (should come with the hose). You want exactly one copper washer on each side of the "banjo".

The fuel rail end is the same as the filter end except there is the pulsation dampener dohickey instead of a bolt. Put a wrench on the hex flats of the dampener and unscrew it.

oh wow thank you mk378! This was exactly the answer i was looking for. I had another question, is there a way to extend the hose? I was stupid to buy an ebay IM (please don't bag on me i already learned my lesson) and it has seemed to push the entire throttle body about an inch and a half left. making the fuel hose too short to go over or underneath the throttle body. any suggestions? Can i buy an OEM hose thats longer than the stock one? Maybe from another engine series?
