Default Fuel Pump Fuse

Hey guys,

I searched the forums and I read that a good way to prevent theft is to remove the fuse for the fuel pump. Now, is this fuse in the fuse box inside the car (by my left knee), or is it somewhere under the hood? Also, how do you know which fuse is which? Sorry, I'm not near my car now, I know these questions are a little dumb.

Thanks!

Ok, I found my manual and I was able to pull the correct fuse out (i think). Now in the book it says that there are supposed to be some "fuse pullers" inside the interior fuse box, and I coulndn't find any. Anyone know where the fuse pulling tool is located, or am I gonna have to stick with my trusty tweezers? lol

it's located in the center above the top row of fuses. all you do is push it in (i think) and it will pop out. just look on the fuse box with a flash light and you'll find it.

I just use pliers. To make sure it's the right one, pull it then try and start the car. It should start and then immediately die or just not start at all but still crank.
