Gas prices
 

I just read a thread where someone was complaining about gas prices. Over $3 I think.

Here in the UK petrol (gas) is just over £1.......... a litre!!!!

That is around £4.60 a gallon which is over $9 a gallon to you!!

Just to make you 'mericanguys feel a bit better about gas prices.

Holy $$$$$hit. I did some converting and if it is 1pound for a litre of gas, it comes up to $8.98 per gallon. That's insane. I'm done complaining about gas prices:D

Yes that sounds about right. I think the US gallon is a littlebit smaller than a UK gallon. 4.546 litres to a UK gallon. US gallon is not exactly the same.
Most of Europe is around that sort of price with the UK probably the most expensive.

My father in law lives in CA and he can't believe the price when he visits here.
