Go find the guy who sold it to you and cut his balls off.

yeah cause even if you have a D15 then you should be able to rev to at least 7000K.... hell i have an auto and if i gun it, it doesn't shift till 7000K

you can bullet proof it. new sleeves new pistons new rods .exct then you should be able to rev it quite high

if you really want to be a bastard, you can go back and say he fradulently represented the mileage on the odometer, because the engine isn't the one that came with the car originally, which means it's improperly displayed.

also, things such as engine swaps etc need to be disclosed at time of purchase otherwise it's considered fraud

It's a motor. Do with it what you would with any other motor and it will respond accordingly.

Or swap.

beat him like a redhead stephchild. Revving high doesnt matter much. I Mean for instance, SovXietday's car redlines at 7200 i think but he shifts at 5500 becuase thats wear his peak horsepower is being made. You know? But yeah id stll be pissed

RE: Got tricked!!!

You always want to shift above peak horsepower if shifting for speed. The power curve is a peak, so you want your shift point and the RPM's that you start off in the next gear to symmetrically straddle the peak power point.
