The car is a 1995 Del-sol Si
Do you guys think it is worth $1200?
Does it have the b16a3 in it?
Car has 200,000 on it and he is the second owner.
Car had a tune up on it before he bought it.
It has the normal rust by the rear wheel.
He says it is the teal color. Not sure what the actual name of the color is.
What do you guys think?

 

Can't really tell you if the car is worth it without pics and knowledge about the car. Also, worth of a car depends on the buyer :P

Del Sol SI came with the D16z6 motor I believe. The Del Sol VTEC (says VTEC on the back) came with the B16.

Not sure what the ugly teal color is called to be honest.

If you have an extra $1200 and you want something like this, go for it.

And yeah i think CVCR is right. The Si's from 93-95 had the D16z6 I think.
Im not a fan on the teal... lol but idk you might be.
And how bad is the rust? Would you be fixing it yourself if you went with it?

 

Im not a fan of teal either. I would be fising the rust my self if i get it. Im sure i would paint it a different color also.

Yeah man it doesn't look bad. other than the rust... Which BTW i think is being caused by the trunk water draining tubes (or w/e they're called). they might be clogged or just be hanging loose in there.
I was expecting it to be way more beat up than that haha.
I love my del sol...its fun to drive it lol
I got mine for 1.1k expecting it not to run..lol But turned out being a good buy lol

 

yeah the car looks pretty good. but 200000 miles on the original motor? i would pay 900

 

Honda engines are a dime a dozen and my prelude engine lasted over 400k and my d16 in the civic is at least 300k+. Even if the engine blows just grab another z6 for $300 and throw er in.
