Default Head gaskets

I'm swapping heads on my 96ex and my 95dx. Does anyone have a problem with the cheaper gasket kits on ebay? The ex won't be run hard, my dx has a t3/t4 on it.

Your head gasket is pretty important. I wouldn't cheap out on one, period. Your call.

You're saying it runs smooth, no codes, no smoke, but suddenly no power either? Maybe the timing jumped? It'll still run but very little power if you have it retarded. Also check the intake for clogged air filter or mouse nest.

Yea no turbo on the EX. It smokes when you get on it. I tested the compression today, 175-180. It has a o2 sensor code. It runs smooth. The transmission (Auto) acts up a little.
Thanks for the price check Riceburner.
