headlight restoration?

you have to polish them lol, did you use a real fine grade of sand paper? the wetsand is suppost to remove debris and scratches, then you polish it.

You need to sand with higher than 1000... then you need to use rubbing or polishing compound.

****1000grit sand paper*****, (dont need any less) buffer wheel, rubbing compound and polish. I just did this on saturday. here are my results, post pix of how yours turned out.

takes about 10-15 mins start to finish

You can't just jump from 320 to 1000. Work your way up in grit, each stage of paper will remove the deep scratchs from before. So next use like 600 grit to bridge the gap between 320 and 1000.
