Help!!! I went over ice with my car
Hi all
I'm new here. I went over ice while making a right turn and now there is a huge dent in the side of my car. It looks like the lower metal body is damaged. How much do you think this is going to cost me?? I'm really worried. Kicking myself over and over!!!
Have you guys ever seen anything like this before? How much work is involved?
I've scheduled an appointment tomorrow to get an estimate. Anything I should know before I go?
Thanks guys!!

RE: Help!!! I went over ice with my car
So the guy at the body shop said this would take $3100 to fix.
I dont know what to do. Logical thing to do would be to see if my insurance can pay for this.
But I plan to check every body shop in a 50 mile radius.
Maybe I can find someone who will just help conceal that huge dent and not replace the entire side skirt.

the door doesnt even look like its dented, just scratched. I wonder if I can tell them what i want fixed and what I want them to ignore?
Thanks cyberx32! any other suggestions would be appreciated a lot!
$3100 is a heck of a lot more than I was hoping to spend on this. Perhaps I could get cheap custom skirts to cover up the dents!! Is that possible? Just have them paint the scratches and just stick on some cheap (but moderately cool) looking custom skirts? Would that work?

What year and model is your car? all you really need is a sideskirt and you can go to an auto store and buy a scratch cover up paint thing and do it yourself, it wont look perfect but a lot better than spending 3000 +
