Default Help Needed

Hi Guys

i have a 97 civic automatic which runs like a dream but for one problem, when i put it into drive and accelerate it makes a grinding noise. Once its running its fine its only on pulling away. Does anyone have any idea what this could be, any help much appreciated.

I could be a few things, first check the brakes, you might have a caliper draging, and there is no brakepads left, also have someone check the drive shafts, it could be a CV joint grinding, they usually grind and click on a turn under acceleartion.

Or it could be a transmission problem, have you kept up on changing the trans fluid?, if the fluid is dirty change it, this might get you by for a while, use Honda fluid only, they act strange when you put anything else in, I did this and had to change back to honda fluid, after that it was Ok....
