hey,

i've just bought myself a 2000 honda civic hatchback 1.4i tropica. i am really pleased with the car however this is my first honda and i dont know a great deal about them. basically i would like to know if there is many common problems that i should look out for and any other relavent info about the car. so if anybody can help out it would be greatly appriciated!

Anyway, civics are great cars... honestly, the only real problem I can think of is they have a bad habit of forming terrible rear quarter-panel rust. Mechanically, if you do the routine maintenance, the car will run pretty much forever.
