HID lights
I recently got a new 2013 Civic.
I'm interested in putting in HID lights. Does anyone have suggestions for brand names or types? |
Wow - new civic, maybe you should share the pics with all ;)

Here are a couple of pictures.
I need to take some more of the interior and the new Honda rims which are pretty sick. |
Yah, Nice car, I like the rear :)
Agree with you... |

I still don't understand why all new cars don't have HIDs from the factory...
but if you still need them look at theretrofitsource.com I think I paid around $300 to do my 2000 civic, expect the same for yours. And stay away from generic hid kits everywhere else that cost you $200 or less for everything, all they'll do is put out less light and make your headlights look better when you're not using them. Look under complete retrofit kits, mine was the bi-xenon mini stage 3 kit(h1). But there are options for everything if yours is different, just do some research or go to hidplanet.com for help |
Thanks for the info. I'll be definitely putting in some HID soon. I have no complaints on the factory lights that came with my Civic, but I had HID lights in my old car and they are far superior. The Civic has fog lights as well. Do you know if you can install HID's in both the main lights and the fogs?

You should not have a problem putting in HIDs in the fog lights. I never understood why, but yes, you can do it. Normally, I see people going with 35w kits for the fogs if that helps at all.
