Guys, im posting this from Australia. I have a b16a engine and matching 5 spd g-box out of a Japanese ED civic. This engine/box combo was not released in an ED in oz. After contacting Honda Australia, i have been advised that they cannot source any parts for the motor or g-box without a VIN (vehicle identification number). Wondering, whilst baring in mind that you guys could only provide an american identification number, if someone can help me with a VIN from a model of this calibre, i would be greatly appreciative.

If you don't get a VIN from here, check the Civics on eBay. They usually post the ads with VINs.

 

It should be stamped on the bell housing.
