Hoping to buy a 2008 Civic LX

RE: Hoping to buy a 2008 Civic LX
I just purchased an '08 Honda Civic LX Manual Sedan. No options. Got it for $16,100 + tax and tags. MSRP is $17,595 (includes destination). Invoice is about $16,215 or $16,250. Add $800 for auto, it seems.
Had to go to two dealerships. First one would go to $16,250. Second went to $16,100 and did better on my trade-in, so I went with them.

RE: Hoping to buy a 2008 Civic LX
I already have 2000 miles on my 08 LX that I purchased last month. BEST car I have ever owned! I traded a loaded, heated leather seats, sun roof, etc. 2005 Impala with 40,000 miles. They gave me 12,500 for my car & I borrowed 6000 from my bank. I gave 18,500 for mine. We are getting 36-42 MPG and we couldn't be more pleased. I put a K&N air filter in it & changed the oil to mobil synthetic 5-20. God how we love this car! We have always had large cars & usually traded every three years but this baby is a keeper & when it wears out I want another one just like it! PS: Merry Christmas & Happy New Year to all
