Just curious, when washing the car, do you use "used" rags or "new" rags?
and what do you do with your used rags? wash them? reuse them?

Well I use a Microfiber sponge to wash the car(and to hold enough soap water in the sponge for certain area)s, Now if you're talking about wiping down the water after rinsing...I use a super absorbent towel to wipe everything off without water spots(works on windows too surprisingly). If the sponge & towel gets too dirty..just throw them in the washer afterward...No need to waste money & buy it again & again.

I use old bath towels to dry the cars. First towel to dry the windows and the second one to wipe down windows again and to wipe down the whole car. I wash them after a couple of car washes. I have a sponge that is covered with fabric to wash the car and just rinse it out when I'm done.

^ A old bath towel is going to scratch your paint. I would only use a microfiber towel to touch the paint.
