HxS (sport) idea...your opinions.
So im really feelin my hx wheels on my 98 cx and have decided that ima make my civic my own model type...from a Cx to a HxS (thus my username). Just gonna have the stock Hx bodyparts w/ type r lips with and a turbo b series motor. Maybe lower it an inch or two but not a whole lot (dont want it too taky). What do yall think?
Oh but the reason i want it to be the HxS and not a type R or Si is because im tired of people making their cars "unofficially" those styles. I want my car to be different but still have the same amount of ***** that their cars do. Mainly just to prove a point that u dont all have to be the same styles, parts, etc. to be a civic fan.

Yesyes the Hx is its own model that prety basic...and DaOne u are right its suppost to stand for Sport. Like a Typre R for the JDM guys only a Type S in this case. So is it a good idea or na?
It's really a stretch for you to call it that. And I don't know where you are getting the "S" from.
Sorry but just because you modify the car doesn't make it a different trim level... The only way I would consider it fair to unofficially call it something it's not is if you converted to it. For example, if you took your car and did everything that makes an Si an Si, you could say that it's basically an Si. But at the same time you have to realize that it's not.
But making up your own trim level name and calling your car that is kind of ridiculous. Sounds like a desperate attempt to pretend your car is something more than it is.

Eh interesting point. Thanx. Idk i just dont want my car to be like everyone else is all. Maybe a different kind of trim level? What do yall think i should do with it? Maybe ill start a new thread on that haha
That's exactly what i'm saying though... giving it a fake new trim level name doesn't make your car any different. It just makes it seem like you're trying too hard to make it different.
Make it different by the combination of modifications you do to it, not by what you call it. Actions speak louder than words.
