Default I don't understand the rules and chose to post a thread title with profanity.

How come I keep my Civic clean as hell, and try to only do clean mods, yet every time I see like an 80's Mustang or Camaro, all rusty and dirty, they have to shake their head at me, or throw some ******* look? Are they mad because my car's nicer than theres? Or is it because I'll beat their big old V8's with my little 4 cyl, and still get great gas mileage? Sorry, just had to vent...

Dude Mullet Machines are soo much better than our Imports. It's only proper that you bow down before their wheels. Man, I wish I had a Fox Body or even better a Camaro RS heaven!!!

Chances are they perm their mullet, listen to a lot of Whitesnake, and work at a burger joint trying desperately to make their way up from fry guy to grill man...for the past 5 years.

Exactly, They have not yet discoverd the replacement for displacement. Volumetric Efficiency.

You guys crack me up. I just hate it when someone who obviously doesn't maintain their car, probably paid less than a stack for it, never washes it, then will look at me and shake their head. Actually, I think I'll sell my Civic, and go buy an '81 Camaro for 500 bucks, then I will be as cool as them! Who cares if it's covered in rust, and gets 10 mpg, there's no replacement for displacement!!!

This thread is going nowhere. And profanity in the thread title? Tsk tsk tsk. You're lucky you're a newer member or I'd rip you a new one for it

Josh - note the emphasis on the "er" in newer

*edit: I'd also like to point out that your ignorance of the performance of muscle cars (both new and old) is just as bad as their ignorance of the performance of imports. And by the way, I doubt you can beat a modified muscle car; I don't know much about camaros, but I can tell you that Mustang GTs love bolt-ons and come pretty fast straight out of the box, and don't get me started on Mach 1's, 01-02 SVT Cobras, and especially/ the Terminator Cobras. And whose car is nicer is pure personal preference; you talking about rusty old muscle cars is like me talking about the most riced out import I can find; they're both negative stereotypes that aren't particularly accurate.
