Default I gave in and got a K20A, now with pics

So I did it, I bought a K20A. Its a JDM Used 220 hp K20A DC5 Integra Type R ITR with 6 speed tranny. And I know some of you will be like "pff wish I had that kinda money" but I saved up for a car since high school and had about 11k, and then on May 16, 2006 I bought my 1994 Civic DX Coupe for $5,300. So I had the left over money to buy the engine with. I got the K20 from a autoparts/junk yard in Kelowna BC for $3,400 CAD with ecu, axles, uncut wire harness, and both manifolds. They pulled it out of a car about 3 weeks ago, it has 26,000 km on it. Its had both tests and I got 2 diff mechanics to look at it (one being my friends brother) and they said it was perfect, just the header is dented a bit.

Most of my swap parts I think are gunna come from Hybrid Racing, they make sum good stuff (6 speed gear box, mounts, shift linkage). I'm gunna do the swap my self and see how much I can get for my D15B7 with 150,000km on it. As I only looked at an engine the day I bought my car, and have only done bolt ons since then, it will be hard but I have lots of time to read up on it and such.

So its in the mail now, sould get to Victoria in a few days, this part sucks, I go to Helicopter Pilot school in the east and wont get to see the engine untill May!!!!

i heard it really isn't any more difficult than a b series swap just a few extra things w' the fuel lines, brake lines, and the shift cables. but good luck man.

There are not too many cars out there with K20 swaps. I like this though.......youre swapping but being very original. Hey imagine boosting that thing? Safe boost (like 6 lbs) and a good tune....man youd have a rocket ship.
