Default i halfway killed her.

Yeah so last night i was goin home at about 7 at night... it was snowing and there was a good 2 inches of snow on the road that i was going thru.
and in front of me about 7 cars lenght a 96' civic slipped and spun out leaving a trail track for me... i tried pumping the breaks slowly so i wouldnt spin out (it was a downhill turn)... but there was no use, i couldnt get out of the trail. i just kept going after the civic... and i ended up destroying their bumper and making a hole thru their trunk.
i was only doing about 10-15 mph but the downhill was pretty steep.
i ended up hitting their back left, and destroying my driverside front corner...

now i gotta go to the junk yard and pull out a front fender, turning signals, and a hood... and i hope thats all.
the metal was about 1 inch from my brand new tires.. so i just poped it out and made sure it was clearing and got pulled outof the snow and called it a night.
lol
i forgot about taking a pic of the other car

oh yeah and im gonna need an alligment as well...

Whew, that's nasty. Post up some more day pictures. And try using photobucket since the forum stuff sucks.

You'll need to make sure the frame is still straight, even with the low speed impact. And you'll need to check the core support to make sure everything will still line up. Good luck man, that looks rough.

well im guessing you havent gone down a steep down hill lol.
and i ment that the thickness of the snow ON the road was at least 2 inches. lol.
like 6 inches of snow fell last night.

4x4 trucks couldnt get up it themselfs.

but it was the cleanest way to get home...
other than freeway, but the freeway ramps get pretty snowed out.

things happen...
at least my insurance isint gonna go up or anything

yeah ill go take some picks later, at least with my phone untill i charge my camera.

Hey, while you're getting parts, convert to the 2dr front end. Looks better.

just the bumper right?
is that what you got? wat year is yours?
good idea lol.

and are the fenders the same from 92-95? or does it have to be off a 93 civic?

i just called the local "pick n pull" and they said it was $56 for a fender off a 4 door 93 civic. Thats if they even have the part.

is there an online place i could get it from?
that aint expensive lol
kinda on a budget...

right now im just trying to get the critical parts in order to be able to drive, since its a daily driver.
hood looks like it can stay for a bit longer lol.

I believe so. Mine is a 2000 though.

For you, anything 1992-1995 2/4dr will fit the car. And that's cheap.

dam, sorry for the unfortunate event. This is why whenever I go down hill when it's snowing I keep it in a low gear, in this situation, that would of prolly still not helped tho. It snowed here earlier today now it changed over to rain and sleet and there ain't no way I'm taking my rsx out in this stuff...

cool thanks ill look into that when i go part hunting. great idea lol.

really? 2 and 4 door are the same fenders? that opens up more chance of finding it. since they told me there was only one 4 door 93 civic on the lot. lol (and i bet its all ripped apart by now)

and im gonna need to buy a spray can from that website that matches my color.
you used that didnt you?
