I Have A D15B7 What Can I Do For Hp?
I bought my 1991 CRX DX with a b16 in it but I blew it and my dad got me a 1992 d15b7 DX so I can go to school and I'm broke right now cause going to school so wanna know what can I do for more power?
id say swap it but if you dont want to use that route go i/h/e use the search at the top of the page you can find almost anything just about every question has been asked
i sadly have the same engine, don't spend any money on it, trust me it'll stay slow mine is manual tranny and all. still slow. just swap it out best deal, block on a d is weak anyways no reason in boosting it.
id say rebuild, but itll be easier to swap in a bseries motor, screw the b16 go for ls motor... but anyway i knwo some people who rebuilded the d15b7 and put a vtec head on it and then boosted, but with all the time, money and headaches ur better off swapping a motor and i feel ur pain i also have a d15b7 with manual tranny and i know it sucks but its awesome on gas
Thanks people for ur answers and those are some nice cars also I have an AEM Intake on it and DC 4-2-1 An Arospeed Exhaust I was on ebay an saw that they have d series turbo kit what do you think for that engine?

Mini-me swap
z6 Vtec head, z6 intake mani, z6 dizzy, youll also need a vtec solenoid and ecu, all hondas are already pre wired for hondas so you just have to hard wire it for vtec, also i would recommend if you could to get a z6/ex tranny due to the dx tranny on a mini me swap you fall out of vtec, loosing alot of hp.
This is your best way to go and good for about 25-30 hp. ACTUALL HP
