Default I need to fix my outlet/cig lighter thing - How do I remove the panel to get inside?

Just bought a USB charger thing that pops in. I dont know what the deal is but it doesnt work. It's loose and wiggles around.

I need to remove that panel and investigate inside.

How do I remove this panel?
Easiest way without breaking stuff.

Not really sure what is loose. Are you referring to the accessory socket? If so, have you also checked whether fuse 27 in the under-dash fuse/relay box is blown?

The picture may help with accessing the accessory socket.

you take that panel off by two screws pointing straight upright above the plug in, and then two other screws on the side, one on each side. pointing towards the middle

every once in awhile mine gets loose to [the socket thing] but i just stick my hand behind the panels where the air comes out on the feet side and tighten that thing up
