Ok I had a 2 door civic but I sold it. I want a hatch. I think I'm going to go with a stock EK and make it sick overtime. Does anyone know what engines come stock with 97-00 EK's? Just tell me what you know and your opinion on the EK's. Personally I like the EG taillights better but the EK's will have less milage and there just newer...

 

well my ek hatch had a D16y7 in it..and its tooo slow so im swapin it...but i like eg's better but ek's can look good if you do it right...

 

Well yea i like the way the EG's look because the taillights and I like how the back windshield isn't as laid out. But an EK is more likely to be better...but I don't want a D-Series, I want a B16A2 or a B18C but I don't think they come with those.

Yea I think all the EK's are gonna come with the D16y7 except the EK9...but I think I'll keep that motor until I get a B16 or even a H22....would the intake and exhaust from a D16 fit the B16? I don't want to have to buy a new exhaust when I get the full motor swap. And I was looking how you got your motor, trannt, and all of the other parts. Did you go with the LSD tranny? And is your civic CX, DX, or? I think the Si comes with the B16? And does yours have power steering and D16's aren't Vtech are they? Sorry for all the questions haha I'm just having second thoughts...
