Well i am looking for some feedback on different ideas to modify my 2005 Honda Civic LX, i have alredy tinted 27%, and added a Bomx Racing Cold Air Intake. I was thinking of a Magnaflow Cat Back Exhaust. Please educate me your wealths of knowledge.

yea I agree w/ street sniper, get a good exhaust system first... (rims and tires don't help but maybe... maybe... .1 in the 1/4 sorry... and for what you spend on them you could be making maybe .5 off... so no thanks.

header, intake, exhaust : engine wise

drop it (coil overs, springs?), rims, headlights : exterior wise

it's all about what you're into, but personally i wouldn't have even tinted the windows. i would've saved up that money for something else.

He said steelies, he never said anything about the tires. And for the record the civic I saw this weekend make a 10.7 second run was running stock 13" wheels with slicks on them, I'm sure they were on there for a reason. I love it when people crowd around cars, cause usually those cars are stripped within a month.

All show, no go is the fastest way to ricer heaven.

Well I just staarted on my hatch and i done full exuast header and full greddy system and aem cai and a tein suspenion and it is a whole new car it feels like with it breathing right and the handleing is great. I got 17's on right now but soon to be 15 or 16 inch rota slips. If you get it breathing right and handing good you will not regret it

jsut cause the car has nice wheels doesn't mean that it is going to go faster. if he has wider wheels yes he will have more of a contact patch on the road increasing grip, but if you have an 17 or 18 inch wheel and the car has stock 13, then you may actually be decr3easing horsepower to the whel, cause with the larger diamiter of the wheel according to physics requires more power to turn the larger radius, and as well more stopping force which would require better or larger brakes. and i have actually seen people put larger wheels on and then had to compensate with larger brakes and then lost about 5HP on the dyno. so i would go for GO first not the SHOW

Yeah, all show no go is definately NOT the way to go (unless you are building a show car, but from what ti sounds like i dont think you are aiming for that). If you are gonna invest in some new wheels though i would suggest something along the lines of 15" or 16" 5zigen FN10rc's, or some Rota's. Whatever you do, DONT buy some heavy 17's, lightweight 17's are alright, but i would still say IHE before wheels/tires. A wider contact patch from the tire will help handling, but more unsprung weight = slower overall acceleration, and longer braking distances.
