RE: I'm Si/LX Civic shopping & have a few questions
So I took the plunge. Happy with 1600 off sticker, 350/year for insurance and lovin' that 197-hp 2.0-liter i-VTEC, 8,000 rpm redline, 6-speed manual, I went and plunked down a big down payment. I've been driving sedans for years and looking forward to a cage that's almost as fun as two wheels.

I am in the same boat you are I can't decide between a 07 Ex or 07 Si. I talked to the dealer and they won't deal at all on the Si so I will be waiting for the 08 Si if I am going to get stuck with full price. In Canada the Si costs $27,655.00 with the shipping and PDI but tax not included and the car is made in Canada. A friend of mine is a engineer at the Honda plant and he says they are making Si's for the US market also. Demand is high and they don't make as many as the other trim levels. I checkd into insurance in Canada and the 2 door and 4 door are classed the same so there is no savings going with the 4 door but this is Canada. The 07 Si costs $200.00 more than the 07 Ex in Canada.
