Default Interior thoughts

OK so I have my 96 Civic 2 dr Coupe stripped on the inside & cleaning everything up.. I was thinking about spraying some of that expanding foam stuff into the inside of the 1/4 panel areas before I put the interior back in. My hopes are to help deadin the sound of the road etc.
Has anyone done this or thought about doing this or something similar?
Or am I just a crazy nut??? LOL Jason

i realy dont think regular foam like that "great stuff" will deaden sound. there are all kinds of home remidy's for it, when i get back from the doctors ill look some stuff up for you.

Don't do it, that stuff holds moisture and will encourage rust over the long term.

i doubt Foam would be the best choice.

look into sound deadning products that are ment for sound deadning. i think it would be the best option. even tho that stuff is pretty expensive.

look into something like this - http://www.sounddeadenershowdown.com/products/cld

or... http://www.b-quiet.com/

or go to your local best buy and waste all your money on this...(expensive stuff..) http://www.dynamat.com/
lol

Hmmmm I did see some of that stuff & it was the price that made me start thinking of others possible ways. The idea came from my Ridgeline. I saw that Honda put a type of foam in the fender wells near where the door pivots & ssumed it was there to help control sound. Oh well.
I could just drive with the music up really loud too LOL. Thanks guys.

I would dynamat the entire interior if my car was stipped lol

and dont buy anything in store, buy it online, saves you half the cost.
