Ok I have around $3500 and IDON'T want to go any B-series.I was wanting to do either a STOCK JDMD15b Vtec LSD tranny with Garrett SC-61 turbo, FMIC,Blitz BOV, 3"exhaust etc.just basically a custom turbo setup running about 8 p.s.i on a really good Hondata street tune.OrshouldI go for a STOCK JDM H22a LSD trannywitha clutch/flywheel, I/H/E?

This would be going in a EG.

JDM H22a is going to cost me $2900 for everything, entire swap, motor mounts, axles, shifter/shift linkage etc.

Or I could buy a new JDM D15b VTEC for $800 and custom turbo it

Which Should I do?!?!?

the D is going to be easier to swap . The h22 is going to need some other misc. stuff on top of the cost of mounts. For 3500 you could build a d and turbo it compared to the h22, where you might luck up and be able to afford i/h/e after the swap is complete

 

i would go with an h22. you could get the motor and installed for around 3500

 

Id toss in the H and have a nice N/A set up.

 

H22 definitely, just make your own BOV sounds when you shift, your friends will love it.

 

H22 but make sure u get the H22a not the H22a1

 

JDM H22a from street imports.

they'll provide you everything you need, including new axles, header and motor mounts.

all for $2,500 or less.

 

not a big difference really other than the jdm counterpart has a lsd in the transmission
