Default Joined The honda Family!!!

I Just Bought my first car so i thought id get a honda civic 1996 hatchback 1.4i

ive put a couple things on to the car

all in my signature, is there anything else i can do to help with my performance and acceleration?
plus also i'd like to know what people think of this, recently i been hearing a lil tap sound coming from the engine i was thinking its the fan clipping againt something im gona get a little sound clip of it and post sounds but from experience what do u think i should look for?

Well congratulations on your first car.

Well if you are looking for performance, then you should be concentrating on your engine. Best way to go is, replace header, camshafts, pistons with all stage 2 performance parts.The best best way to go is build your engine. Increase the bore/stroke ratio. The best ratio is to go with oversquare process, basically short stroke and bigger bore.

i hope you mean 5" muffle tip, even though i dont agree with that either its still sounds better then 5" piping

Maybe the tap on your engine is coming from top of your valve cover and maybe it needs a valve adjustment [&:]

ahh sori bout the mis-typing its a 5" muffler, ok kl ill have a look at that and ill post some pics up as soon as possible, car does sound great and realli shifts well for it being a 1.4i quicker then alot of 1.6-1.8 cars about, is it really worth me changing the camshafts on a 1.4i? or in the long run will i mess the engine up?
