So I have a cold air intake...
and i then changed it to short ram.. im getting a lot higher RPM's when im at about 40 and i just mash on the gas and it just kicks in ... normal?.. So far i love it but its only been one day and i couldnt really put it to its potential due to MASSIVE ammounts of traffic everywhere. I then when onto the express way but started to hydro plane cuz it started to rain but w/e so i went about 80. and it was good.. it also seems a lot quieter when sitting at a stoplight or somehting and when im just cruising than when i had it fully connected with the filter sitting basically in front of my passenger side tire.. im sure ill have pics soon when i get around to it... My moms BF just got a powerwasher too so im gunna have him show me how to use the damn thing and clean my engine bay.. is it true u need to cover ur wires or is it fine?

 

cover the dizzy and filter if nothing else

 

CAI andshort ram both have their benefits, so find out which one you like best. And yes you have to cover these main things and let it dry a bit because you dont want any water getting into the engine.

I think he means he's getting better response at those RPM and not higher RPM.
