Nope. They all came with the D16y7 from the factory.

92-95 hatch si's come with vtec

No, they did not. The DX and CX models were the only ones offered in hatchbacks for the '96-'00 model years, and neither of them have vtec.

and hamorhead, I think you mean 5th gens ftw :D
5th gen si = 5th gen ex in hatch form, d16z6 = win
