I don't know what the deal is, but I see those around here ALL the time! There's one that parks on my street. Plus I see others about once a week, some AWD, some not.

A city guy at my work has one with custom mods: intake, header exhaust. He popped some nice white rims on, tinted the windows, and added a system. He's a guy who needed a family car but wanted to mod also. It's an AWD model too!
