C-lo i would suggest making your own grill. It will be way cheaper than buying one and having to pay for shipping.
a motor swap is easy. i am finishing up my first one. swapped a B18B into my 92. that's what you should do to get rid of that weak y7

It wont be $100 or less, but check out the local u-pull junkyards... I header about one like two hours from where I live that apparently charges around $200 for a full engine/transmission combo. I plan on checking the place out in the next month or two (I might not have a civic anymore, but that doesn't mean I can't have a b18 sitting in the garage, does it? lol)

Dont waste your money on headers or exhaust. You'll spend lots of money and see little results except for people staring at your car because it sounds like it lawnmower engine is contained under the hood. I'd stick with cosmetic things like cleaning up the engine bay, painting calipers/drums, and so on. If you wanna get serious with performance mods down the line, you'll have to change your headers and exhaust anyways so save the money now.

craigslist in your area would probably have some decent aftermarket parts that could fit your budget. thats what ive done and everythings still working perfectly. cosmetics as weel.
Well you would just get the mesh and paint that black. Use your stock grill and take out the part that has the H on it. I don't have pics but i did it yesterday.
Yeah arust45 you have a point, I have been very on the fence about getting header and/or exhaust for a D-series. I sure wish I had a junkyard around like reaper2022 is talkin about, a $200 B-series engine+tran would be amazing, and I have a friend who works on and can install engines since his family owns a shop with all the equipment
