looking for tires

im about to pick up a 90 DX HB, needs a headgasket, but i work at a shop for a living and can do it myself no problem.

just wondering, whats the widest tire you can fit on those stock 14in wheels? i think they are 14s anyways.

i dont want the little tiny like 155's or w/e comes stock, im thinking like 205's, but i want them to stay inside the fenders, instead of sticking out badly.

anybody help me out?

That car would have come with 13 inch wheels. I think the stock tires are P175/75/R13.

but if they are 14's then i then they come stock with 185/65/14 so in this case i would go with 195/60/14. check the tire size first and post back

Yea and look at suggested tires from manufacture, if you go to big you screw up the ride and handling.

and the speedometer

not to mention it could be a safety concern

going just a tad bigger should be fine though
