I do, right along with high prices 4x platinum spark plugs, and wings that make a car look like a shopping cart from wal mart.

I actually had a whistling noise from my engine for a while. It ended up being a leak in the exhaust manifold gasket. I replaced the gasket, and no more problems

mufflers don't give any horsepower gains. It's all in your head due ot the sound. A cat-back exhaust opens up your whole exhaust system with bigger piping, and even then honestly the gains aren't huge.

anyway, the sound could be many things. A sound clip would help, but no matter what it is....
