Manuel transmission help
 
when i got my car i changed all the fluids. and since i changed the trans fluid the transmission as been leaking not to much but its leaking. it said to put in 10w30 motor oil. but when i changed it gear oil came out. what should i do should i put in honda manuel trans fluid. please help. thanks

Locate and repair the leak. Don't use gear oil-- someone must have put the wrong stuff in before. Honda MTF is best, or motor oil.

But to really help you...

Make sure you go get Honda MTF from the dealer and the two washers. One washer for each bolt (drain and fill). If these washers are not there it may cause a leak. Total is about 15 bucks. (2 quarts and 2 washers).
