I just bought a 04 Civic LX, I got a good deal but the thing is too slow, my mom's corolla leave my *** in the dust, all i want to do is to zip in and out of lanes and to leave automatics in the dust Any Proven mods are appreciated.

You have the wrong car. The 01-05 civics have a 1.7L engine, which is probably the worst engine to respond to bolt ons (intake, headers, exhaust). There's not much to do if you want to go a lot faster, unless you want to spend a lot of money.

And you're missing the point of a Civic. The original purpose of it is to get good gas mileage. It's an economy car.

 

i think you dont understand the situation. you have a car that is made for gas mileage, if you want to zip in and out of lanes, then you should get yourself a v6 or v8 engine cars. Example like american muscle cars.

If you really want mods in your car, i suggest you stick around the forum and learn and research about cars before you start modding your car. Then you can get a real clear idea on what you really need to do that will best suit your needs.
