254whp and 172 ft/lbs of torque is about exactly where I'd want to be in a Honda, nicely done.

It's just too bad you can't do anything about that god awful racket it makes

+1.

I've never been a fan of the BYS bumper if it doesn't have a huge FMIC behind it, though. Just my opinion... the air dam is just too open without one.

I'm just a B-Series fan, I guess. No point arguing my side when everyone else is against me. Although, I will say: What I meant in the first place is this: Drop as much money as possible into both engines, a B and a D. Once you are "finished" with both engines, with the same amount of $ invested, the B will spank the D. And with a huge set of slicks, a FWD can definitely handle more than 350 hp, seen it done personally. Sorry for hijacking your thread, OP.

And Reaper, nothing was ever mentioned about price. If price is an issue, then you are definitely better off turboing the single cam. I'm not arguing that at all.

I'll go back on topic though. Car is amazing OP, and I love the BYS bumper with or without an intercooler behind it.

Are you going to drive around daily on slicks, just so that you can get the car to hook? I'm just saying that when I had my SOHC boosted is was roughly around 192whp, 180 ft/lbs tq. At the top of second and sometimes third gear, my wheels would bust loose and I'd get some wheel spin/hop. Sure, a better suspension setup, as well as wider wheels and better tires would have helped, but overall it's just an annoying experience.

If it's not your daily, but rather your drag car, why in the hell would you start with a civic anyway?
