I just recently swapped a 2000 civic si engine and transmission into a 1994 body. I'm having issues with the rear mounting bracket, and also the axle shaft on the driver side is not fitting in the port due to engine interference. What can I do? I've been to every boneyard I can find in my area. Can someone help me out? Thank you.

 

You need the B16a2 axles.

Any Chain auto parts store will have b16a2 axles.

Are you aware that the B16a2 transmission uses an intermediate shaft on the driver's side?

 

No I wasn't, I thought it was just a straight shaft like the one I pulled from the old one. If you could explain or email me a photo I would appreciate it.

 

Would an auto part store have that other shaft as well?

You need to match the axles to the transmission.
