a bit of advice for closing the hood...
close it like you did whenever it didn't latch all the way, and then push down on it to latch it in place. Don't slam down the hood like it sounds like you are having to.
There not chrome, there stock, the black paint faded off, and the blades are white.

It's not that bad. Good on you for owning a CF hood though. Btw you're lucky you have good fitment.

my hood has kinda the same problem as you were describing. When I close the hood, I do it the way I said earlier, but I also put some of my weight into it. do you also do that?

Ya i have to put alot of my weight when pushing it down. I put bolth my palms perelle of the hinge and maby an inch from the hinge and push down. some times i heir cracks, i think its from under the hood...
maby i need to use more push force if thats way its not level
