New Wheels or Internals?

I finally sold my white wheels for $400, so with shipping taken out i've got like $320 to spend. Now just a simple question, should i rock some steelies for the rest of the summer and build the internals, or should i get these?:

I'm thinking just Golden Eagle rods, new OEM rings, a new headgasket, then some headstuds. I could order the headstuds, head gasket and rings right now, then get the rods with my next paycheck, or order my wheels in the next few days, then tires with the next check. What would you do? If i don't get the wheels now, then probably the beginning of next summer. I'm not gonna be upping the boost, i'm content with just this mellow turbo setup, i just want some reliability, especialy with my engine just over 150K.

What would you guys do?

what whp range is your goal (I forget if you said or not)? I dunno I would set aside show stuff untill you get your turbo setup 100% you know. If I were you I would think about a replacement engine waiting in the wing. Build that one up and swap it in after this engine goes or once your ready for more power.

Definitely go with the internals. If your fresh turbo takes down your not-so-fresh engine, it doesn't matter how nice your wheels look :D

Another engine to build up is a great idea Live_4it, more work but you can take your time and build the motor right.

I'd go internals. Mostly because I don't like the look of those wheels.

By the way flip... My BOV was sold with my turbo kit.
