Part brands and ebay

I'm on a tight budget but I want to keep my car good so I'm looking for good deals. I'm asking for your opinion on quality (not performance enhancements) as in reliability of these items:

-Exhaust manifold/cat converter: Thinking of buying off ebay here

-Spark plugs: Going for mpg not performance. (no performance decrease either) Any suggestions?

-02 sensor: Anyone have a website they bought theirs from? Don't give me the site unless you actually bought one from there.

Thanks a lot!

-Hit up a junk yard first, see if you can find one if you're that tight of a budget

-Autozone

-Autozone

They should also have a O2 sensor socket tool you can use to change the O2 sensor

Actually Buying on ebay is about the same price as buying used from the junkyard. These things are goin for over 400 new :/ and I can get a used one for like 220. The 02 censors are expensive too... like 200ish. That's why I was wondering if there was a cheaper place to get those. Thanks though!

Wow.....an O2 sensor for my civic is like $66. That blows.

My 98 Civic's 02 sensor was only like $77 with the sensor and the socket tool. At autozone of course. (:

Yeah... for some reason when I looked the first time it was really expensive but I must have been looking at the wrong part b/c it is like $60. Would there be any quality problems with buying the manifold off of ebay? And the spark plugs - does it matter the brand? I'd be willing to pay a tad extra if they increase mpg.

I brought a Header off of Ebay about 6 weeks ago...It DOES turn from a nice silver to a rainbow-gold in a few seconds after you start the car up. Ummm...thing is I have heard MANY complaints about Ebay headers coming up short when attaching to the Cat. Mine comes up about 2-3 inches short but I managed to pull the cat & catback towards the front & made it work from there.
Funny thing is...it cost only $35..shipping included($10 header..yup!)

I just suggest you get Platinum plugs since they last at least 75,000 miles, Bosch are the cheapest at Autozone, I got them 10 months ago & no problems since.
I know people are gonna say "Bosch!?!?!? Aggghhh!! How could you!?!?". But they been good to me so far.
