Please help me identify some hoses on my 93 ex coupe
Okay so my car is so close to being ready to drive, should be ready once i get my ecu back from john at phearable.net. I have changed all the fluids and fixed all the electrical problems i have found, but i have also found a few hoses that don't go to anything, some of them im sure are for drainage maybe all of them, but one doesn't seem like it should be disconnected (the last one pictured).
http://s688.photobucket.com/albums/v...view=slideshow Here is a link to the pictures, btw the car has the ac removed and the purge control is not there so some of these may be because of that. I have tried reading through the service manual but i couldn't really identify any, hopefully you guys will be able to tell, who knows maybe someone will be able to beat ronj! |
1-3 - It looks like the condensation drainage hose for A/C evaporator behind the passenger side dash.
4-4b - Not sure, but possibly the vacuum line that would connect to the EVAP system canister. |
ha nice work you didn't give anyone a chance to beat you to it. That was basically what i was thinking as well for what the hoses were for. I just wanted to check because i would feel like an idiot if I overlooked one, i don't know maybe im just weird but it gives me a piece of mind when i know what every single little thing on my car is for. Well i just took a look at the drawing and that is def the line for the fuel vapors that goes to the canister, should i leave it open like it is or cap it. I would think i should cap it, it seems like it would probly be better if fuel vapors weren't escaping directly into the engine compartment.
