Default po5 cumputer on a d15b7 engine???

Iam thinking about replacing my d15b8 engine with a d15b7 engine. Can I use a po5 cumputer on a d15b7 engine?

you would most likely want the ecu that came with that motor (P08) i'm not even sure what motor the P05 is for. but i have that motor right now, and it's mated with a P08 and those should be pretty cheep

p05(d15b8) reads a 1 wire o2 sensor and a p06(d15b7) readsa 4 wire 02 sensor. It will run the b7 fine. but i would recommend down the road get a p06 ecu, b7 engine bay harness and a b7 02 sensor and everything will plug right in

you sure it's the P06? my car has a P08... but it is an auto so that could explain it as well

did some researching an it looks like the p08 comes from the automatic d15b's.

if the only difference between a b8 ecu and a b7 ecu is the o2 sensor wires. could i just use a b8 o2 sensor on ab7 engine?
