Possible 1987 honda civic mods
 

Hi everyone!!! I know my civic is old, but she has some of the nicest looks for the age. I have one problem however. I can't find any cool mods for it?!?! Here's my situation:
-1987 honda civic dx hatchback
-1.5l carburated engine
-whole car is stock except tires (it even has factory spare in the back)
I looked on ebay, no dual carbs, cold air intake, checked carid, not even a cool front bumper or the optional rear spoiler. I even called all 4 automotive scrapyards, they don't have any 3rd gen civics :(
Do you guys have any secret sauce to this generation civic??? I've looked everywhere, I cant find anything

Its worth it to me in price. Engine has 103,602 miles, and its clean. Got it for 1350, I wanna make it nice.

What are you looking to do with mods on it? Honestly, this car is probably worth more the way it is, they're becoming quite scarce for this vintage. At this point the aftermarket had moved on from the 3rd gens and you'll be hard pressed to find the abundance that used to be... a lot of the things you'll have to fabricate yourself...which isn't at all difficult.

Really just wanted dual carbs, and if I could find it, replacement carpet. One side is tearing :/

You could make your own carpet, it would take about a day of work. Dual carbs may be difficult to find right now. It's been a long while since that was in production for that motor.

DON"T DO IT! This is a classic today, getting very hard to find. Leave it alone except returning it to factory stock condition.
