price of tuning

hey if you don't do your tuning yourself, how much do you pay to get your car tuned. I just bought a 00 civic si last week so i'm a little new here. I'd like to do the tuning myself eventually, the car has hondata 200 but i was wondering what it costs to have a tech do it....and how often should you have it done? Thanks for the help

what type ofmods are done to your car? is it turbocharged or internally built? if it is not then it doesn't need to be tuned. if it is then the going rate ranges from 400-1000 depending on the shop and tuning software. give us some more info on your setup.

I'd strap it on a dyno just to be sure everything is nice and tight.

Usually tuning sessio prices differ depending on where you go, whether its street or dyno, etc..Average price is about $100/hr, just make sure who ever you're paying has a good rep.

Hmm I usually offer tuning starting at 250 and going up depending on the build level. Good luck with your car!
