projector headlights
doese anyone know if stock light bulbs will fit in the ebay projector headlights on a 95 civic ex?
|
i can't tell you what bulbs the particular projectors will use, but an H4 is dual filament and projectors don't use those, so no, they won't
they should come with bulbs though they will most likely use an H1 or an H3 bulb, or a combination of both (i.e. H3 for low beam, H1 for high beam) |

it should say on the front of the clear headlight lense what they are, with an H_
it should also say on the bulb |
yea it should say on the bulb itself, should either be H1 or H3 like trust said. if i were to get them i would get them from ebay and seal them good with silicone

yea, seal them right along where the plastic clear lens meets the housing
many of them have fogging problems because they are not sealed. ashcheerit2000, you must have just gotten lucky and gotten a sealed pair of headlights. If you ever have the front bumper off for another reason I would seal them while it's off, but since you said you don't have fogging problems I wouldn't take the bumper off only to seal the headlights. |
my projectors from ebay came with bulbs.....but if you're replacing them just go off of the bulb part #.
and yes, silicone sealant ftw.....well not really the win because mine still leak, but it helps lol |
Lol there should be a sticky on aftermarket headlights and the need to seal them with silicone.
