removing dealership stickers from car
hey all....i tried searching to see if there were any threads on this subject but to no avail. so i bought my si about a month ago and it came with one of those honda dealership stickers that have the dealerships name on it. they stuck it on the trunk and i tried peeling it off but it didnt look like it was going to come off too well so i just left it on. does anyone know a good method of removing stickers without scratching the paint? thanks!
stickers or badge?? I just used my fingernail and some goo-gone, then buff/wax it after if anything comes off. I've heard even goo-gone can take off some paint/clearcoat, so you might wanna just try using your fingernail.
YES! the hairdryer worked like a charm it wasn't too sunny out around 6 ish so had to pull the car into the garage and plug in the hairdryer. peeled right off...left some goo-ey stuff so i just used the sticker adhesive and gently pressed it against the left overs. washed the little section where the sticker was cuz there was a circular outline..then waxed it and it was good to go! now i'm wondering if i want to shave off the civic emblem on the trunk.
