repaint/revive
I have a 1993 Civic Si, black, everything still factory. Over the years, it has gotten a number of almost microscopic chips/pits in the hood. It also has some minor damage on one door which can only be seen at certain angles. No rust anywhere (spent its whole life in LA).
I'm considering getting it repainted, but would like it to come out very close to factory. I wouldn't mind spending $1000 to get it done, but I would rather have factory paint with minor indications of wear than a poor paint job.
The selection of places to get a car painted, and the costs, span everything from cheap to hugely expensive. Any recommendations on how to select?

i talked to a guy yesterday in a Walmart parking lot (funny story really, guy in a Del Sol parks right next to my Del Sol as I was leaving) and he had just got his car painted for $1200. He got it painted the stock red color and it looked brand new. It looked great. I think you should spend around $1000 or so.
