I had my tires replaced a month ago and during the install, they did a fluid check and closed the hood on the support rod which snapped it in half. Unfortunately they deny it ever happening so I get to replace it myself... yay!

Does anyone have any pointers on replacement? I couldn't find it in the service manual... do I just pull this sucker out?
